So here's the thing about my Inmate: yeah, he's a vampire, but he hasn't been one for very long. Or at least he wasn't before he came here. Am I wrong for thinking I should be trying to convince him to go back to being human when he graduates?
I mean there's other vampires here who've been that way for years, probably decades and centuries. It might seem kinda wrong to them, to be asked to give it up.
This kid was in high school. He had a family. He had a future.
I know there's vampires here that might even be cool, so I don't necessarily have to do this. Probably. But all I want to do is give him another shot at what was really taken away from him.
...I dunno. I guess I just want some other perspectives on this before I make any definite plans.

Apparently my new Inmate bit someone last night. Which brings me to important topic for discussion number one: Who here has dealt with vampires and what recommendations do you have for me?
We don't exactly have people like this where I come from.

So I know that where I come from this is a special time of year. Everyone comes together on it, there's commercials and offers all over the television and newspapers. Some people look forward to it, even more of them dread it, and if you're really lucky and you picked the right person, you get something really worthwhile out of the whole experience.

So I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about this place right now, and right now I'm past the point where there's caring who hears me. Amanda Young just graduated, and I'm sure there were plenty pats on the back and congratulations, but I'm in an awkward position, and I'm certain that if anyone else here were in the same position they would probably have the same problem.

Have to say that in spite of everything? I might have enjoyed being home more, but it was nice to see a bunch of kids running around excited about presents and Santa Claus. Even if all them happened to somehow be people that aren't that young anymore anymore. Really not much of a point to this time of year at all without kids.
